Night fishing trips are seasonal and only offered from April through September , we only night fish on the low water flow schedule, we night fish on a drift boat , night trips typically last between 5 - 7 hours depending on the flows , i offer night fishing opportunities for all types of Anglers , Spin Fishing and Fly Fishing , Everyone is welcome here ,  all the rods and reels and lines and lures and flys are included and provided  , you can bring your own fishing rods if you want to , we typically fish with 9 foot - 6 weight fly rods with floating lines on 1 x and 2 x tapered leaders and we also fish with 7 foot medium action spin rods with 8 pound test line , start times are dictated by the TVA generation shut off schedule   , you will need a Tennessee fishing license and trout stamp to night fish the SoHo , check the trip planner below for the link to purchase your Tennessee Fishing License and Trout Stamp to fish the South Holston River  , the guide fee for a night fishing trip is $400.00 for 1 or 2 anglers , 2 anglers is the maximum that i can take in the drift boat , no deposit is required to book a trip , full payment is due prior to the start of your trip , i accept cash or check or card , we have lodging available , check the night fishing trip planner below for more info about lodging  .

Start times for our night fishing trips can vary , depending on the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA ) generation shut off schedule, we can start at dusk or  we can start as late as midnight  , we only night fish on low water flows ,  life jackets are provided and included , dress warm  ,  I recommend you  bring a hooded sweatshirt as some nights this river can cool the air enough to need an extra layer in the early morning hours , eye protection is always encouraged when night fishing , if you have safety glasses bring them , i have eye protection available if you do not have any , you will need a working headlight , i have several extra headlights for you to use if you do not have your own , our trophy class wild brown trout measure from the 20 - 30 inch mark , we are catch and release only , digital pictures and video of your catch will be provided , if you have any questions feel free to call or text message me anytime at 980-833-3167 , or you can send a direct message right here on this site , Let's Go Night Fishing  -Ronnie.
